Sayuri Kato wurde in Okayama, Japan geboren.
Mit 3 Jahren begann Sie Klavier zu lernen und ihr erstes Auftreten war im Alter von 4 Jahren.
Sie lernte Klavier bei Fr. Hiroko Takeda, Fr. Tazuko Ashida, und Hr. Osamu Yanai.
Mit 8 Jahren begann sie neben dem Klavier Hammond - Orgel zu lernen und wurde darin von Fr. Chizuru Kato und Hr. Masazumi Noda unterrichtet.
Gewinnerin des Hammond - Orgel Wettbewerbs 1987, '88, '89 in Japan.
1990 wurde sie zum Hammond Orgel Festival in Okayama eingeladen.
1994 und 1995 absolvierte sie Klavier Meisterkurse in Wien und nahm Klavierstunden bei Prof. Noel Flores und Prof. Alexander Jenner.
1995 folgte ein Konzert im Rahmen der Okayama City Förderung (Young Artist Concert) in Japan.
1996 absolvierte sie die Okayama Asahi High School, übersiedelte nach Wien, nahm Bösendorfer Meisterkurse (1997, 1998, 2000) und Klavierunterricht bei Prof. Roland Batik.
1997 - 2003 studierte sie Klavier (Klassik-Konzertfach) bei Frau Mag. Miyuki Schüssler am Franz Schubert Konservatorium und Gustav Mahler Konservatorium.
2002 - 2008 studierte sie Jazzklavier bei Herrn Paul Urbanek am Gustav Mahler Konservatorium. 2008 absolvierte sie an diesem Konservatorium ihre Jazz Diplomarbeit mit Auszeichnung.

Seit 2008 ist sie als Jazzpianistin tätig und komponiert eigene Stücke.

Neben dem Komponieren und Live-Spielen begann sie um das Jahr 2004 eigene Tracks am Computer zu produzieren und seit 2014 spielt sie auch als Manipulator bei Live Auftritten.

Im April 2010 hat sie ihre Piano Solo Score "No More Party", "One More Party" und Band Score "No More Party" publiziert.( Music Bells Musikverlag, Japan)
Im Dezember 2012 hat sie ihre Piano Score for 4 hands "Fantasie-1-" publiziert.( Music Bells Musikverlag, Japan)

2017 Erfolgreich war sie als Musikalische Leiterin beim Gedenkkonzert der polnischen Nationalsängerin Anna Jantar (die 1980 bei einem Flugzeugabsturz ums Leben kam).

Von 2017 bis 2020 war sie als Pianistin für den Wiener Lied- und Operettensänger Robert Brei tätig.

2021 gründete sie ihr eigenes Label OKAME RECORDS und von diesem Label wurde ihre Debut Single "Do lazy Output" unter dem Künstler Pseudonym Sayuline veröffentlicht.

2022 hat sie ihre erste EP "OUTPUT SK", mit 6 Songs, die von 2014 bis 2021 aufgenommen und von ihr komplett selbstproduziert wurden, veröffentlicht.

2023 Die Komposition "Juy 7 - Tanabata“ erhielt den Special Prize beim 3. ISAC International Popular Music Composition Competition.

Sie spielt zahlreiche Konzerte als Solopianistin und Vokal/Instrumental Ensemble Pianistin von Klassik, Jazz, Pop, Blues, Bossa Nova, Latin, Funk, Musical, Wiener Lieder, Evergreen bis Worldmusic im internationalen Kulturbereich.

Derzeit lebt sie in Wien als selbständige Pianistin, Keyboarderin, Komponistin, Arrangeurin, Notensetzerin, Korrepetitorin und unterrichtet für Kinder und Erwachsene, sowie musikalische Früherziehung.

Sayuri Kato - Pianist

Sayuri Kato, born in Okayama, Japan, started learning piano at the age of 3 and her first performance was at the age of 4.
She learned piano with Ms. Hiroko Takeda, Ms. Tazuko Ashida, and Mr. Osamu Yanai.
At the age of 8 she began also to learn the Hammond organ and was taught by Ms. Chizuru Kato and Mr. Masazumi Noda.
Winner of the Hammond Organ Competition 1987, '88, '89 in Japan.
In 1990 she was invited to the Hammond Organ Festival in Okayama.
In 1994, 1995 she took piano master classes in Vienna and lessons with Prof. Noel Flores and Prof. Alexander Jenner.
In 1995 followed a concert as part of the Okayama City funding (Young Artist Concert) in Japan.
In 1996 after graduating from Okayama Asahi High School, moved to Vienna, took Bösendorfer master classes (1997, 1998, 2000) and piano lessons with Prof. Roland Batik.
1997 - 2003 studied classical piano performing with Mag. Miyuki Schüssler at the Franz Schubert Conservatory and Gustav Mahler Conservatory.
2002 - 2008 studied jazz piano with Mr. Paul Urbanek at the Gustav Mahler Conservatory.

In 2008 graduated her jazz diploma thesis at this conservatory with distinction.

since 2008 she has been working as a jazz pianist and composes her own pieces.

Around 2004 she began producing her own tracks on the computer and since 2014 she has also been playing as a manipulator at live performances.

2017 successful as musical director at the memorial concert of the Polish national singer Anna Jantar.

2017 - 2020 worked as a pianist for the Viennese song and operetta singer Robert Brei.

2013年〜 ドナウ島で毎年行われるヨーロッパ最大級のアフリカフェスティバルにウガンダ出身歌手のキーボーディスト・アレンジャー・マニピュレーターとして毎年出演している
2017年〜 ウィーン市内の幼稚園にて幼児リトミック講師
2017年〜2020年 ウィーンリーダーやオペレッタを中心とした定期コンサートの伴奏ピアニスト

2021年 自主レーベルオカメレコードOKAME RECORDSを設立、ライセンスを所得

室内楽をクレメンス・トゥルトフ氏に師事
マスタークラス、プライベートレッスンをノエル・フローレス、アレキサンダー・イエンナー、 ローランド・バティック各氏に師事
ウィーンベーゼンドルファーマスターコースにてローランド・バティック氏に師事
グスタフ・マーラー音楽院にてジャズピアノをパウル・ウァバネク氏に師事

スウィング、バップジャズからラテン、ボサノバ、ファンク、フュージョン、ビッグバンドアレンジ、あらゆるジャンルのアンサンブル及び作曲法などを習得し、心に残るメロディーだけでなくオリジナリティーあふれた作風、リズムや和声感には定評がある。
現在は主に自己のリーダーバンドやプロジェクトをメインに演奏活動を行なっている。
